My First Haiku Poem

 WALT: write a Haiku poem. It is based on syllables and follows a pattern 5-7-5.

 I have a dog Elvis. 

He likes to play fetch with me .

He likes to play games .      

 This hybrid animal swims high and low. It  swims 100 miles  a day.  It roars loudly 

It is black with a blue body and a grey tummy which is covered in fur. It eats worms ,plants and meat. It has gills to help it  breathe underwater. It has two rounded ears which are furry and bright yellow eyes.

Can you guess what two animals my hybrid is made up of?

Thursdays Writing Polar Bears

 Polar bears live in the Arctic. They have black skin and a white coat to blend in with the snow. Their real name is Sea Bear. 

They live in the Arctic because it has ice and snow. They eat baby seals. Their  habitat it getting destroyed because the world is getting warmer.

Polar Bears can become mean and angry if something attempts to hurt them. Polar Bears are nice if they are not in danger.

 Polar Bears use sea ice as a platform when they hunt seals and fish.

Its my first time.

In the weekend

 In the weekend I got pus out of my big toe. I soaked it in warm Dettol water.  My mum pricked it with a needle and yellow spat out. We had to scrape the skin. My toe stung but then it stopped. I sat down and rested. The next day it was still there but it was under my nail instead of my skin.
